Why Baliaric Parasols Are Different
Our Balinese parasols are handmade and carefully hand-painted in Bali by skilled artisans, giving every piece its own distinctive character.
Each authentic Baliaric parasol is crafted using traditional techniques preserved for generations. The bamboo structure is woven by hand, decorative fringes are attached individually, and every motif is painted by hand rather than printed by machine.
Because of this meticulous process, no two parasols are ever exactly the same. Subtle variations in each piece reflect the authenticity and artistry of true Balinese craftsmanship.

CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees depending on the destination country. These charges are determined by local authorities and remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Parasol Care
Are Balinese parasols waterproof?
Baliaric Balinese parasols are primarily designed to provide elegant shade from the sun. They can handle an occasional light shower, but they are not intended to remain exposed to heavy rain for long periods.
Our Modern Twist collection is made with waterproof fabric, allowing these parasols to handle rain more easily.
Our hand-painted parasols are made with traditional cotton fabric and should be treated much like outdoor cushions. If the parasol becomes wet, we recommend allowing the fabric to dry completely before closing or storing it.
Opening your parasol
Because every Baliaric parasol is handcrafted in Bali, it may feel slightly stiff the first few times you open it. This is completely normal.
Turn the parasol upside down and gently push it towards the ground until it opens fully. Then flip it back over, place it into the base pole and secure it with the wooden peg.
Maintenance
With proper care, your Balinese parasol will remain beautiful for many years.
Clean the fabric occasionally using mild soap, water and a soft brush or cloth. Many customers also apply a fabric protector such as Scotchgard to help preserve the colours and protect the hand-painted details.
Care & Wind Guidance
Our parasols are handcrafted in Bali using traditional techniques.
For longevity, we recommend closing the parasol during strong winds or storms and storing it in its protective cover when not in use for extended periods.
With proper care, the fabric and structure will maintain their beauty for many years.
